Luz News aims to be accurate. When we make a mistake, we correct it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email editor@luznews.com with the subject line “Correction”. Include the link to the article, the sentence you believe is wrong, and, if possible, a source for the correct information. We review every request.
How corrections are made
- Factual errors (a wrong name, number, date or attribution) are fixed in the article and a note headed “Correction” is added at the bottom with the date and what was changed.
- Clarifications that do not change the facts but make a sentence clearer are noted as “Clarification”.
- Minor typos and formatting fixes are made without a note.
- If a story is withdrawn entirely, we leave a note at the URL explaining why.
Developing stories
Breaking news is updated as new information arrives. The updated date shown on the article reflects the latest change, and significant updates are described in the text.
